Transcript of Robert Armin's
online chat with
Deborah Gibson (October 20, 2003)

[Deborah Gibson filled up the chat room to capacity with her huge, international following as both a recording artist and Broadway performer.  To celebrate the release of her new Fynsworth Alley CD, "Colored Lights," she chatted from her New York home.  As usual, most of the  typos have been corrected and a few answers have been moved closer to their corresponding questions.]

[RobertArmin] Hi, welcome to the Fynsworth Alley chat room.  Deborah will be with us in a moment.

[RobertArmin] Please note that nothing you type can be seen by Deborah.

[RobertArmin] I will post your questions as we go along.  If you post NOW, I cannot see your questions because I already have a FULL screen.  Please hold off for a while.  Thanks.

[RobertArmin] Good evening.  We have a VERY crowded room tonight, so let's get started,

[RobertArmin] Deborah Gibson obviously has a LOT of fans.

[RobertArmin] No surprise there.

[RobertArmin] We're going to talk primarily about Deborah's work in the theatre, so let's try and steer the conversation in that direction, okay?

[RobertArmin] Hi, Deborah, how are you?

[DeborahGibson] I'm doing great!  How are you all?

[RobertArmin] We have NEVER had this many people anxious to join the chat, so let me start sending a few questions your way.

[RobertArmin] Daria asks:  Why do you think you haven't been asked to do "Chicago" on Broadway yet?

[RobertArmin] Or have you?

[DeborahGibson] Um, for a while they were casting the role of Velma a bit older.

[DeborahGibson] When I auditioned for it, I was playing Belle [laughs], which I think

[DeborahGibson] definitely gave them the wrong idea in the perception area.

[DeborahGibson] After doing it twice regionally, I am quite satisfied at no longer pursuing the role on Broadway.

[RobertArmin] Considering that they cast Melanie Griffith for the show, your dancing certainly can't be a problem!

[RobertArmin] And, as you say, you have done it

[RobertArmin] Are they getting more serious about moving you into it?

[DeborahGibson] thank you, thank you, thank you.  If you are referring to Chicago, I am not looking to be "moved into" it.

[RobertArmin] Well, I understand that, of course.  I just meant make the move back to Broadway.

[RobertArmin] debsmagic asks:  what Broadway role are you going to jump into next?

[DeborahGibson] My goal is to originate something, with the exception of Gypsy.  I would love to do Gypsy with Patti LuPone as Mama Rose

[DeborahGibson] I am also quite interested in playing Mary Poppins on the West End next year.

[RobertArmin] Have you been working on any workshops or readings of new shows?

[RobertArmin] I think we're all interested in seeing that show succeed!

[RobertArmin] They've got some good people working on it -- Mary Poppins.

[DeborahGibson] No.  But, I have had interest in TV and film development and have been focusing on writing and developing more than reading at the moment.

[RobertArmin] bejki: I listened to the clips for "Colored Lights" and WOW, you have never sounded so strong.  What plans and hopes do you have for the next 12 months?

[DeborahGibson] I think Mary Poppins would be a natural fit for me and I would love to revisit London.  I have not performed there since doing Grease.

[DeborahGibson] I would love to see this album continue to bridge the gap between the pop world and the theater world.

[RobertArmin] Interesting that you got to play both Sandy AND Rizzo.

[RobertArmin] In Grease.  What was that like?

[DeborahGibson] I would like this album to reach both die hard theater fans and those who have resisted theater.

[DeborahGibson] My biggest goal is to tour with this album.

[RobertArmin] Well, I certainly hope the many people here tonight will give your Broadway album a listen.

[DeborahGibson] I felt a bit schizo at times.

[RobertArmin] You can have a strong effect on your fans in introducing them to "new" music.

[RobertArmin] That's in answer to my Grease question?

[RobertArmin] Kevin asks:  Deborah there is a "RUMOR" that you may tour over the holidays. How true is the rumor and what cities will you perform in if it does happen?

[DeborahGibson] My actual personality lies somewhere between the two personalities so I'm glad I got to take it to both extremes.

[DeborahGibson] I feel I got to play the better role in each production.  One featured Sandy and the other Rizzo so it was the best of both worlds.

[RobertArmin] Gilad-from Israel writes:  What can you tell us about the musical you wrote 'Skirts'? Any news?

[DeborahGibson] We do not have a holiday tour together as of yet, but I will be doing TV, radio, and in store promotions.

[DeborahGibson] Definitely in NY and LA and possibly in Dallas, as well as the cities that have yet to be confirmed.

[DeborahGibson] We're still in a holding pattern.

[DeborahGibson] Although, it did feel good to record the song "Sex" for this album.

[RobertArmin] Courtney asks:  which is your fave song on your new broadway cd

[DeborahGibson] Working on a new musical is not something I take lightly, so I want to make sure I can really devote all of my time and effort to it.

[DeborahGibson] My collaborators feel the same.

[DeborahGibson] It's so new that I'm pretty much into everything on it at the moment.

[RobertArmin] Wiseguy asks:  What kind of challenges do you face trying to get "cast" in stage, as opposed to getting "signed" to record? ?

[DeborahGibson] Although, I would have to go with "I'd Rather Leave While I'm In Love" as one of the songs I feel most connected to.

[DeborahGibson] Hmm, interesting...

[DeborahGibson] I feel that getting cast in theater is a bit less political and more about ability and simply being "right" for a role.

[DeborahGibson] One of the interesting things that people may not realize is that in theater sometimes having a "name"

[DeborahGibson] works for you and other times against you.

[RobertArmin] Are there any more shows currently playing that you would like to appear in -- other than Chicago, of course.

[DeborahGibson] Getting a record deal is sometimes more about style than substance.

[RobertArmin] mckenzieboy22 asks:  do you feel that the fans you have now are alot of the same ones that grew up listening to "little" debbie gibson and are now grown up as well and still appreciating the music to this day?

[DeborahGibson] After doing Cabaret the list of shows I wanted to do got shorter because of how fulfilling playing Sally was.

[RobertArmin] I can understand that.

[DeborahGibson] I think that a lot of the fans have taken the journey with me.

[RobertArmin] Looks like Susan Egan will be coming back in after she finishes her LA gig.  She'll probably be the last Sally.

[RobertArmin] Monica77 asks:  Will you be performing at the Thanksgiving parade this year like you did last year in Philadelphia-it was an interesting performance.

[DeborahGibson] And others may have disappeared for a while and came back on board through the roles I've done on Broadway.

[DeborahGibson] Hmm, interesting?  Thanks....I think.

[DeborahGibson] No, this year I will be just having dinner with the family on Thanksgiving.

[RobertArmin] desbmagic asks:  deborah do you have a multiple album deal with Fynsworth Alley, or just this one release?

[DeborahGibson] I'm very happy Susan Egan will be the last Sally.  After all , her heart is truly in the role and she does a fantastic job.

[RobertArmin] I agree.

[DeborahGibson] At the moment, it's just this one album.

[RobertArmin] She's been a buddy of ours since the Bye Bye Birdie tour with my wife.

[RobertArmin] daveywavey asks:  deborah, what’s the possibility of doing something in the uk? soon?

[DeborahGibson] No plans right now, but I really really miss being there and hope to perform there in the near future.

[RobertArmin] Maybe with Mary Poppins?

[RobertArmin] Fingers crossed.

[RobertArmin] deborahfan1 asks:  Deborah, when people listen to your new cd what do you want them to get out of it?

[DeborahGibson] I did tape an appearance for a show called "Through the Key Hole" which should be airing in the UK this spring.

[DeborahGibson] I guess I just want each song to take them to a different place emotionally.

[RobertArmin] DelShawn asks:  What advice do you give people that want to do Broadway?

[DeborahGibson] I also want people to maybe take away the idea that there can be a different approach to doing theater material.

[DeborahGibson] I feel that this is a newer, younger approach to a very traditional art form.

[DeborahGibson] Work on technique, train, and go on every audition possible to gain confidence and experience.

[RobertArmin] I fell in love with Broadway music at the age of 10.  I hope your fans will take this trip with you into a new world of songs

[DeborahGibson] Also, when auditioning for a role, go in with your own unique view point and take on the role as opposed to imitating.

[RobertArmin] You have bridged the two areas of music better than almost anyone.  I'm glad you finally have a CD available.

[RobertArmin] sirhc72nc asks:  victor victoria would be an amazing role for you, do you see yourself doing that one in the future?

[DeborahGibson] Maybe when I'm a bit older.

[RobertArmin] dawninohio asks:  What has been your most memorable moment on stage up to this point in your career?

[DeborahGibson] Hmm...

[DeborahGibson] Acting opposite Betty Buckley and playing Sally Bowles.

[RobertArmin] Good choices.

[RobertArmin] I think I would agree,

[RobertArmin] gregvany asks:  where do you get all your energy and positive feeling from?

[DeborahGibson] Robert, great minds think alike.

[DeborahGibson] lol

[RobertArmin] :-)

[DeborahGibson] The energy comes from loving what I do and through my constant interaction with my audience.

[RobertArmin] Wiseguy asks:  How do you feel about music downloading??

[DeborahGibson] Positive thinking, I have found, is a daily choice.  I choose to always see the glass as half full.  But don't think that doesn't take work!

[DeborahGibson] I feel that snippets of songs should be used as a promotional tool, but the downloading of songs in their entirety

[DeborahGibson] with no financial compensation going to the people that create the music, has already begun to kill the music industry.

[RobertArmin] The record labels are finally starting to see how to make money and make the songs available.

[RobertArmin] But it has always been a problem getting that money to the artists, it seems.

[DeborahGibson] Yes, I agree.

[RobertArmin] After the "advance," many artists never see a dime.

[DeborahGibson] Tell me about it! lol

[RobertArmin] debsmagic writes:  Deb I would die to see you play Amneris in AIDA. what do you think??

[DeborahGibson] That has been a discussion I have had with the folks at Disney.

[DeborahGibson] It is definitely a possibility in the future.  I love that role also and have had such an amazing experience working with Disney on Beauty and the Beast.

[RobertArmin] bjkier writes:  You playing the role of Eponine was what really got me interested in seeing theater (and made me a huge fan of Les Miz), would you like to return to Les Miz as another character?

[DeborahGibson] Amneris has a lot in common with us Long Island gals. lol

[DeborahGibson] Although Les Miz has closed on Broadway, I would still love to play Fantine regionally or on tour.

[RobertArmin] Here's a personal question from Monica77:  Robert can you  ask Debbie if she wants to get married and have kids or she just wants to be single  for a while?

[DeborahGibson] LOL

[DeborahGibson] No, I definitely want to get married and have kids, but it is something that I take too seriously to rush.

[RobertArmin] Jordi asks:  Hi Deborah are you thinking to come to Europe to introduce your new album?

[DeborahGibson] I would love to!

[DeborahGibson] Start badgering the folks at Fynsworth Alley about that one!!!

[RobertArmin] How about a holiday album?

[RobertArmin] With a Broadway slant, of course.

[DeborahGibson] Colored Lights can also refer to Christmas!  HA HA HA

[RobertArmin] LOL

[RobertArmin] fap75 asks:  Deborah ever consider stepping into Millie's shoes?

[DeborahGibson] But, seriously, wouldn't it look great under your tree!

[DeborahGibson] I do want to do a holiday album at some point in all seriousness.

[RobertArmin] Are you finding radio stations interested in your new album.  Will they give it a shot?

[RobertArmin] We need to get Broadway music "out there"

[DeborahGibson] I do really love that role, although that style of belting is truly not my forte.

[RobertArmin] Millie

[DeborahGibson] Sutton can hit those notes in her sleep.  And I know first hand because I toured doing Grease with her!

[DeborahGibson] But, with a slight key change "anything is possible"!

[RobertArmin] Folks, slow down on the questions, please.  I won't be able to get to all them, but right now there are so many I can't even SEE the new ones.

[DeborahGibson] We have a ton of interest in stations wanting to talk to me about it and help promote it.

[DeborahGibson] But, until we release a single to radio, we won't know for sure.

[RobertArmin] Which single are you leaning towards?

[DeborahGibson] I feel  "I'd Rather Leave While I'm In Love," "Blame it On The Summer Night" and "Sex" are all radio contenders.

[DeborahGibson] "I'd Rather Leave..."

[DeborahGibson] Especially with "The Boy From Oz" having just opened.

[RobertArmin] Sex on pop radio.  Hope you don't run into the same problem Mae West had with her play of the same title!

[RobertArmin] Of course, "I'd Rather Leave" was always a pop song.

[RobertArmin] electricyouth1974 asks:  Deborah who are some of your fav artists at the moment

[DeborahGibson] Things have changed a bit since the days of Mae West....hopefully. lol

[DeborahGibson] Woo...

[RobertArmin] jr11901 asks:  ABC family just showed Beautiful Girl last night, which featured two of your songs. How did you get involved with that project with Marissa Winukor? Do you plan to record them yourself in the future?

[DeborahGibson] I just bought Clay Aiken's CD, Jason Mraz, Michael Buble, John Mayer...

[DeborahGibson] and Mya.

[DeborahGibson] Marissa threw my name in the ring.

[DeborahGibson] I submitted songs, and they loved them!

[RobertArmin] The movie will be on a lot this week, I think (it's on right now).  I'll try to catch it.

[RobertArmin] ABC Family is not a channel I surf to regularly, but at least they repeat a lot.

[DeborahGibson] The producers of the film have suggested I record pop versions of the songs, and fans of my website have expressed the same feelings.

[DeborahGibson] So,....

[RobertArmin] I'm getting a new cable box tomorrow with the built in VCR!  I will be able to watch everything!

[RobertArmin] Have you thought of doing a concept album of songs from Skirts -- an advance look (or listen)?

[DeborahGibson] I have thought about it, but my priority was to do the Colored Lights album.

[RobertArmin] Well onward and upward!

[DeborahGibson] I will think about the idea of a Skirts concept recording in the future.

[RobertArmin] foolishbeatboy asks:  Hi, Deb.  What made you decide to record Portrait In Loneliness for the tribute cd in Japan?

[DeborahGibson] Thank you, Robert.

[DeborahGibson] It had been awhile since I had done something specifically for the Japanese audience, and I really love the song.

[RobertArmin] foolishbeatboy asks:  Hi, Deb.  What made you decide to record Portrait In Loneliness for the tribute cd in Japan?

[RobertArmin] Oops

[DeborahGibson] While we're waiting for the next question, I wanted to thank you all for chatting tonight...great questions.

[RobertArmin] That's a repeat

[RobertArmin] So many questions!!!!

[RobertArmin] Debfan asks:  how do you compare performing theater in front of a packed house to performing to a wild sell out pop concert?

[DeborahGibson] Hmm...

[DeborahGibson] They are both exciting in different ways.

[DeborahGibson] Performing theater requires more focus and stillness on my part,

[DeborahGibson] whereas performing pop concerts uses more of my hyper active energy.

[DeborahGibson] I couldn't imagine life without either one of them!

[RobertArmin] jr11901 asks:  Can't wait to get Colored Lights on Nov 4. Where's your first stop promoting the new CD?

[DeborahGibson] Hmm...

[RobertArmin] Andrea asks me a question:  What is the most amount of people you have had on a chat? Does Deborah break the record?

[DeborahGibson] I am doing a satellite radio tour on Oct. 29, 30 and 31.  Check www.deborah-gibson.com and Fynsworth Alley's website for listings.

[RobertArmin] The answer is YES!

[RobertArmin] I can't keep up with all the question.  If people would just type questions and not comments about my not posting their questions, it would help at lot!

[DeborahGibson] Also, I will be appearing on WB 11 Morning news at 8:45 am tomorrow to talk about a charity event I am doing later tomorrow morning,

[DeborahGibson] as well as to talk a bit about the album.

[RobertArmin] courtney asks:  who would you like to do a duet with?

[DeborahGibson] For the in store appearance itinerary  check both websites.

[DeborahGibson] Oh, cool about the record!

[RobertArmin] Jordi asks: have you recorded some program on VH1 Channel with your new album? this is the only U.S. channel that I can see in Barcelona

[DeborahGibson] Of course there is my long standing wish to record with Billy Joel.

[RobertArmin] It's INSANE on my end, I can't even see the latest questions.  I have to get through the list!

[DeborahGibson] But, I would also love to sing with John Mayer or Michael Buble.

[DeborahGibson] Queen Latifah would be fun too!

[DeborahGibson] I am a part of the VH1 special airing on Thanksgiving Day, but it is not to specifically promote the album.

[RobertArmin] Daria asks:  How about a duet with Clay?

[DeborahGibson] They have expressed interest in doing more promotion for Colored Lights, so stay tuned!

[RobertArmin] Victoria asks:  Deborah, how does it feel to be a constant source of inspiration and idol to so many people; myself included

[DeborahGibson] Ooo, that would be fantastic.  (Clay)  Talk about a pop theater cross over duo!

[RobertArmin] alfr92 asks:  Will the CD be in wide release in the US or will it be hard to find?

[DeborahGibson] Maybe Clay and I could do AIDA together!

[RobertArmin] It should be all over, but you can always buy it right here!

[DeborahGibson] Well...thanks for reminding me that I am an inspiration because some times on a day to day basis I forget.

[RobertArmin] You have been a good role model.

[DeborahGibson] It feels really great and just hearing that comment inspires me to do bigger and better things!

[RobertArmin] Much more than some pop singers, I must say.

[RobertArmin] themodsquad asks:  when are u going to do movies deb???

[DeborahGibson] Thank you again, Robert. lol

[DeborahGibson] You're cracking me up!

[RobertArmin] HughJas asks:  Hey Debs, any thoughts on going on the Ellen show to promote the new album? She's so funny!

[RobertArmin] I'm a bit cracked myself!

[RobertArmin] This is hard having a SUPERSTAR on here!

[DeborahGibson] I have recently come very close to getting some amazing roles in feature films after signing with amazing new agents.

[DeborahGibson] Like anything else, it is a process, introducing myself to the film community.

[RobertArmin] There are people all over the country asking when you will visit their town.  I can't post them all, but Deborah generally posts her tour information on her website.

[RobertArmin] Are you computer savvy yourself.  Do you surf the web?

[DeborahGibson] But, I am building my reputation as an actress now more than ever and I am "feeling it in my bones" that a feature film or TV show is in my near future.

[DeborahGibson] My PR company has been working on getting me a spot on Ellen's show.

[RobertArmin] alfr92 asks:  Will you be doing a tour or more broadway to coincide with Colored Lights?

[DeborahGibson] Any and all emailing directly from you guys to Ellen's show may help secure me a spot!

[DeborahGibson] I am a fan of her show too!

[RobertArmin] Gilad-from-Israel sends a personal invitation for you to visit there.

[DeborahGibson] I use my computer mainly for emailing friends, but mostly I am a face to face or phone person.

[DeborahGibson] I also use it for researching roles and occasionally shopping. LOL  Mainly books and music.

[RobertArmin] Here's an interesting one - Monica77 asks:  Do people ever make fun of you when they see you-for example when Britney was in great adventure they said "your hot, but your music sucks"

[DeborahGibson] OMG, I would LOVE to visit Israel!  I have never been!

[RobertArmin] DebsNo1Fan asks:  What city do you call home now?

[DeborahGibson] I am happy to say that comments like that (Britney) pretty much stopped after high school!

[RobertArmin] Glad to hear it.

[DeborahGibson] People are pretty respectful when they approach me these days, but back then I had to deal with a lot of what Britney deals with.

[RobertArmin] Do people ever complain that your direction in music has changed?

[RobertArmin] Or are they going with the flow?

[DeborahGibson] I am officially bi-coastal back and forth between NY and LA, but NY will always be home!

[RobertArmin] Gabriela asks:  do you see yourself in a comedy series like Friends or Will and Grace? I think you’d be great!

[DeborahGibson] People pretty much go with the flow and respect the fact that I have a definite sense of where I am headed.

[DeborahGibson] Sure, people have their opinions, but if I listened to them all, I'd be running in 18 different directions.

[RobertArmin] Debfan asks: Deborah, you mean so much to so many people, does the pressure of being an icon ever get too much?

[DeborahGibson] Thank you!  Yes, I definitely see a sitcom future for myself and have a lot of interest from networks at the moment!

[RobertArmin] mckenzieboy22 writes:  Deb, as you probably know you are such an idol to many gay men, why do you feel like you are such a hero to the gay population? just like cyndi lauper and cher, your talented all over, but really loved by gay men...

[DeborahGibson] I put more pressure on myself than the industry could ever put on me.

[DeborahGibson] Any pressure or problems that come along with getting to do what I do publicly are what I call happy problems.

[RobertArmin] Daria asks:  Any ambitions to host Saturday Night Live?

[DeborahGibson] I have often pondered the gay thing myself.

[DeborahGibson] I have always felt a connection with the gay community and it may be because

[DeborahGibson] I am a very open person who has had to constantly fight uphill battles in my career.

[RobertArmin] jr11901 asks:  If you could cover a whole cd full of songs by one person, who would it be?

[DeborahGibson] Much like people in the gay community have to fight uphill battles daily to gain acceptance.

[DeborahGibson] I have always wanted to host SNL!  And, I always feel I am one hit record, tv show, or film away from doing so!

[DeborahGibson] Did you guys catch Justin hosting?  He rocked!

[RobertArmin] Will you be signing copies of Colored Lights for Fynsworth Record Club purchasers?

[DeborahGibson] I'd have to say Billy Joel

[DeborahGibson] Sure, why not!

[RobertArmin] Great.

[RobertArmin] Watch this site for information about autographed copies!

[RobertArmin] Jen asks:  Who is your idol?

[DeborahGibson] In my personal life, my Mom.

[DeborahGibson] In the songwriting world, Billy Joel and Elton John.

[RobertArmin] DebsNo1Fan asks:  There seem to be alot of POP stars appearing on Oprah this season - any plans for you?

[DeborahGibson] In the theater world, Liza Minnelli.

[RobertArmin] Shame that Rosie is no longer on -- she would promote the heck out of your album!

[DeborahGibson] Whom I saw perform the song Colored Lights in the musical the Rink when I was 14 years old.

[DeborahGibson] Oprah has not called as of yet!

[DeborahGibson] But, email her as well as Ellen! lol

[RobertArmin] Monica77 asks:  When I  was younger I always thought you were the luckiest person alive, what kinds of battles have you faced since then-I caught Britney on SNL, she rocked

[DeborahGibson] Although I have always considered myself to be lucky for being able to live my dream,

[DeborahGibson] nothing good comes without a price.

[RobertArmin] wholovesyababy asks:  name famous people that you would have over for dinner dead or alive

[DeborahGibson] I have dealt with anxiety problems, stalkers, as well as dealing with cynics and critics on a daily basis.

[DeborahGibson] But, in 17 years none of that has derailed me.  If anything it has all given me more of a backbone.

[DeborahGibson] I love this game! lol

[RobertArmin] DebsNo1Fan writes:  Liza is performing in LA for the Actors Fund honoring Kander and Ebb will you be there??

[DeborahGibson] Liberace would at the head of the table for sure!

[DeborahGibson] Judy and Liza....

[DeborahGibson] Barbra Streisand

[DeborahGibson] Diane Lane

[RobertArmin] ReVoLutioNSBoi76 asks:  Of all the songs you have written, what is your favourite song?

[DeborahGibson] and JFK, Jr. and Sr.

[RobertArmin] Victoria asks:  Deb...meeting you was a dream come true for me...is there anyone that you have met that has been a dream come true for you, or someone you would like to meet?

[RobertArmin] I think your last answer kinda covers that.

[DeborahGibson] I was asked to participate, but we are firming it up.  Check my website for more details.

[RobertArmin] Debfan asks:  When do you think you may get to tour again?  We love you in Mississippi, but rarely get to have you here...don't forget us

[DeborahGibson] One is "We Could Be Together" an oldie but still a fave.

[DeborahGibson] Another is "Think With Your Heart"

[DeborahGibson] Elton was a dream come true, because he is as nice and gracious as I'd hoped he'd be.

[DeborahGibson] So was Michael Jackson.

[DeborahGibson] I would still like to meet Barbra Streisand.

[DeborahGibson] Hopefully I'll be able to tour next year.

[RobertArmin] An number of people (to many to keep track of) have asked if you plan to record an album of spiritual music at any time?

[DeborahGibson] Awwwww...thank you Mississippi!

[RobertArmin] jfp8370 asks:  do you still own Liberace's piano?

[DeborahGibson] I would like to always incorporate inspirational themes into my music.

[DeborahGibson] But, don't have any plans right now to do a spiritually themed album.

[DeborahGibson] Yes, and I will own it FOREVER!!

[RobertArmin] How about his candelabras?

[RobertArmin] LOL

[DeborahGibson] No, but I do have an 8X10 of Liberace standing by the piano that came with the piano. lol

[RobertArmin] Monica77 has another personal question:  are you in love now?

[DeborahGibson] Many years into a relationship, I sure hope so.

[RobertArmin] I'm really sorry I can't get to ALL of your questions.

[RobertArmin] There are still HUNDREDS on my screen!

[RobertArmin] This has been one heck of an exercise for me to keep up with them all.

[RobertArmin] Deborah, we only have a few minutes left, so let's sum up a bit.

[DeborahGibson] Thank you all for this overwhelming show of support.

[RobertArmin] We should look into having you sign some CDs for your fans.

[DeborahGibson] Hopefully, I can answer more of your questions throughout the promotion of this album in the coming months.

[RobertArmin] They can buy them through the Fynsworth Alley website.

[DeborahGibson] It is time for me to go to sleep...

[DeborahGibson] early day of promotion starts tomorrow.

[RobertArmin] Everyone should check in here for more information.

[DeborahGibson] I can not wait to hear all of your feedback on Colored Lights!

[RobertArmin] Well, I really hope you can get the word out on this terrific album.

[DeborahGibson] I really hope you enjoy it!

[DeborahGibson] Thank you, Robert and thank you everybody!

[RobertArmin] Again, I apologize if I didn't get to your questions, but I tried!

[RobertArmin] Deborah, you are a real trooper and I look forward to meeting you live and in person one of these days!

[DeborahGibson] Thank you, same here!  Bye for now!

[RobertArmin] Goodnight, Deborah.  Next week, my guest will be Janine LaManna, a terrific theatre performer.  Come back when it's a bit less frantic!!!

[RobertArmin] Good night everyone.

FYNSWORTH ALLEY        ROBERT ARMIN
