[RobertArmin] Good evening and welcome to the Fynsworth Alley chat room. [RobertArmin] Tonight, I am delighted to welcome Danny Burstein -- [RobertArmin] an actor who really keeps busy. [RobertArmin] When we start to talk about all the shows he has done -- and the films and TV shows, [RobertArmin] you'll see what I mean. [RobertArmin] Good evening, Danny. [DannyBurstein] Hi all [RobertArmin] And thanks for joining me. [DannyBurstein] It's great to be here [RobertArmin] You just mentioned that you had been working on a film, so let's start with that. [DannyBurstein] Ok [DannyBurstein] I just finished filming a movie entitled DUANE INCARNATE [DannyBurstein] I play opposite Kristin Johnston [RobertArmin] Of Third Rock From The Sun. [DannyBurstein] That's right [RobertArmin] What do you do in the film? [DannyBurstein] I play her boyfriend. We have a kind of Woody Allen - loveable Amazon kinda thing going o [DannyBurstein] on [RobertArmin] Neato. [DannyBurstein] it's pretty funny [RobertArmin] Well, I try not to see too many movies nowadays. But that one sounds like one I will venture out for. [RobertArmin] Sounds like no superheroes in that one. [DannyBurstein] It'll be out next summer [RobertArmin] Your career in musical theatre, which, of course, is our primary interest, has encompassed a lot of shows. [RobertArmin] How did you get started in the theatre professionally. [DannyBurstein] yeah, I've been pretty lucky [DannyBurstein] I got my Equity card at the St Louis MUNY [DannyBurstein] when I was 19 [DannyBurstein] I was in the chorus of THE MUSIC MAN with Jim Dale & Pam Dawber [DannyBurstein] lol [RobertArmin] Great team. [RobertArmin] I like both of them a lot. [DannyBurstein] I did lots of shows there [RobertArmin] Like what? [DannyBurstein] odd pairings too [DannyBurstein] FUNNY GIRL with... [DannyBurstein] Juliet Prowse & Larry Kert [RobertArmin] Hmmm. [DannyBurstein] JOSEPH... [DannyBurstein] with Rex Smith & Donna McKechnie [RobertArmin] What was your biggest role there? [DannyBurstein] I had 3 featured roles in... [DannyBurstein] AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS with... [DannyBurstein] Tony Randall, Robert Clary & Leilani Jones [RobertArmin] I've got several questions from the readers, so let me throw a couple of them at you. And in a little while we can give away some of your CDs! [DannyBurstein] that's where I met Tony and we became fast friends [RobertArmin] Tony Randall. That would have been something to see. What a great Fogg! [DannyBurstein] he was terrific, yeah [RobertArmin] pat asks: You have been involved with the New Composers concerts since the beginning Are you a founding father? [DannyBurstein] Father? [DannyBurstein] Maybe a brother [DannyBurstein] lol [RobertArmin] ") [RobertArmin] I misspelled my happy face! :) [DannyBurstein] I've been lucky enough to be involved with the New Composers Collective for about a year - as the MC [DannyBurstein] it's been a wonderful place to be [DannyBurstein] hearing new works by some of today's hottest composers is an incredible honor [RobertArmin] Your involvement with new works must be very interesting. [RobertArmin] Pat wonders how the New Composers Concerts started? [DannyBurstein] A fellow named Joel Fram, who is a composer himself and also a B'way conductor started it all [DannyBurstein] he just had an idea to get his friends together and put on a show, lol [DannyBurstein] his friends just happen to be folks like Jason Robert Brown, etc [RobertArmin] Of course, you have been in on the whole series of rare song collections from Varese Sarabande and, now, Fynsworth Alley. [DannyBurstein] yup [RobertArmin] With Unsung Broadway and Lost In Boston, etc. [DannyBurstein] it was a great honor to be on those recordings - truly. All involved knew it was something very special [RobertArmin] Edelweiss wants to know: Are you going to Rebecca's first night of Nine? [RobertArmin] Which of course, is tomorrow! [DannyBurstein] do you think I should go? [DannyBurstein] OF COURSE [RobertArmin] Yeah, do the kid a favor. [DannyBurstein] my wife's opening night is tomorrow - I wouldn't miss it for the world [DannyBurstein] it's not easy replacing. [RobertArmin] Rebecca performing in Nine makes me wish for more recordings of replacement casts! [DannyBurstein] you have no preview period. you just have to do it - and be as good as those around you [DannyBurstein] I think she'll be fine [DannyBurstein] that's nice of you to say, Robert [RobertArmin] Edelweiss asks: Did you get any vacations in with your kids before school starts? [DannyBurstein] yes, we had a wonderful week together just recently [RobertArmin] I know when Rebecca was here she RAVED about your sons. She's so delighted to be a Mommy. [DannyBurstein] and she's a wonderful step-mom. She loves it and they love her [RobertArmin] Tell us a bit about how you met. [DannyBurstein] we met in prison [DannyBurstein] KIDDING [RobertArmin] Locked in a prison of love. [DannyBurstein] we actually met doing TIME AND AGAIN at the Old Globe [RobertArmin] Skip Kennon's show. [DannyBurstein] we were both in different relationships at the time, but were good friends even then [DannyBurstein] then about a year later we found ourselves cast opposite each other in a workshop of HARMONY [DannyBurstein] and that's pretty much when we started dating [DannyBurstein] TIME AND AGAIN has one of the most gorgeous scores ever, Skip's kind of a genius [RobertArmin] That must have been a frustrating production -- show-wise, not friendship-wise. I hear the production period was difficult on Time and Again. [DannyBurstein] it was tough [DannyBurstein] great cast led by Howard & Becca... [DannyBurstein] directed by Jack O'Brien [DannyBurstein] choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, etc [DannyBurstein] great people, it just didn't work [RobertArmin] Was the MTC production very different? I know they pretty well started from scratch as far as the cast went. [DannyBurstein] i did see it and it was vastly different. It felt like a chamber piece - I just don't think it IS one. It wants to be huge [DannyBurstein] full orchestra, that kind of thing [RobertArmin] Well, I do hope they get around to doing a studio cast recording of the score one day. With you and Rebecca, of course. Here's a couple more questions: [DannyBurstein] I hope someone is smart enough to record it too [RobertArmin] Kballetdancer asks: Do you have a favorite place to go out to dinner on a night off? [RobertArmin] Or is that too secret? [DannyBurstein] hmmm [DannyBurstein] we go to lots of places [DannyBurstein] TACI, HENRY'S, THE WESTEND [DannyBurstein] all on the upper west side [RobertArmin] I'm a Times Square guy myself. [DannyBurstein] but we also like to cook and eat in and watch a movie [RobertArmin] Though I HATE Times Square now that it has become so popular! [DannyBurstein] or sports. I'm a big sports fan [DannyBurstein] yes [RobertArmin] I miss the prostitutes and drug dealers. At least then it wasn't so crowded. [DannyBurstein] I'll give you some numbers if you need 'em Bob [RobertArmin] No thanks! [RobertArmin] pj9 asks: do you have a preference between singing and acting? [DannyBurstein] lol [DannyBurstein] yes, acting [DannyBurstein] I know I've done lots of musicals, but I've never striven to be an actor [DannyBurstein] stroved [DannyBurstein] strived [DannyBurstein] what the heel is that word? [DannyBurstein] hell [DannyBurstein] LOL [DannyBurstein] oh man, I messed up that whole question, let me start again [DannyBurstein] I always wanted to be an actor. period [DannyBurstein] I studied at the Moscow Art Theatre [DannyBurstein] I wanted to be a classical actor [DannyBurstein] But I loved musicals, too [RobertArmin] Maria Ospenskaya spoke highly of you. [DannyBurstein] so, I said yes when I was asked to audition for musicals [RobertArmin] When you were with the Moscow Art Theatre [DannyBurstein] in '89 [RobertArmin] 1889? [DannyBurstein] studied there with a translator [RobertArmin] I think that's when Maria was there! [RobertArmin] LOL [DannyBurstein] yes, 1889 [DannyBurstein] it was cold and Czar was mean [RobertArmin] Edelweiss asks: Do you and Rebecca sing together for the fun of it? [DannyBurstein] yes, we do and when we do... [RobertArmin] Like, in "Sing for your supper?" [DannyBurstein] I know I'm the luckiest sonofagun in the world [DannyBurstein] I play some piano so I usually accompany us [RobertArmin] Well, between you and me, we have the two nicest wives in New York! [DannyBurstein] YAY [DannyBurstein] you're absolutely right [RobertArmin] Kballetdancer asks: Do you think you and your wife will continue to be involved with the New Composers series for a while or do you think the upcoming one this month might be your last? [DannyBurstein] we'll be there as long as Joel Fram asks us to be there. We LOVE it. We also think it's important to get the songs out there [RobertArmin] Kballetdancer also asks: Besides your wife, do you have any other favorite Broadway performers that you enjoy watching when you're in the audience? [DannyBurstein] unless of course we're busy for some reason [DannyBurstein] I am constantly in awe when I go to see Broadway shows and I'm lucky enough to know so many incredible performers... [DannyBurstein] John Selya is amazing, have you seen him. Also the rest of the cast is incredible [RobertArmin] He is great in Movin' Out [DannyBurstein] of course I'm talking about MOVIN OUT [DannyBurstein] yeah [RobertArmin] And Elizabeth Parkinson. [DannyBurstein] LOVE HER [RobertArmin] Who's married to another nice guy. [RobertArmin] We should all get together. The nice guys club. [RobertArmin] LOL [DannyBurstein] Scott Wise is one of my favorite people on the planet. A wonderful man and super talent [RobertArmin] Yes, he is. [RobertArmin] Well, let's take a moment to give away a CD. [RobertArmin] Can you think up a question, Danny? [RobertArmin] Something easy? [DannyBurstein] Does anyone know the lead character's name in MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG? [RobertArmin] Alright, let's see if anyone gets it. [DannyBurstein] my first CD with Varese [RobertArmin] First person to answer wins your Lost In Boston IV album. [RobertArmin] Anyone? [DannyBurstein] Bueller? [RobertArmin] Hint. There's a whole song about him. [RobertArmin] ___ ____ Inc. [RobertArmin] Going going... [RobertArmin] Okay. We have a winner. [RobertArmin] Kballetdancer says Franklin Shepard! [RobertArmin] And this is right. [DannyBurstein] Debbie Reynolds? [DannyBurstein] YAY, good going Kballetdancer!!! [RobertArmin] If Kballetdancer will email his/her name and mailing address (to Fynsworth@showmusic.com) I will send out the CD. [RobertArmin] Kballetdancer says "thanks." [RobertArmin] Pat asks if you have any tv guest spots coming up? [RobertArmin] You've done a lot of TV! [DannyBurstein] No, I mean I can be seen in several reruns of LAW & ORDER, God knows... but... [DannyBurstein] my episode of ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS is coming out on DVD on Oct 1st [RobertArmin] I have an idea for a TV sitcom about Broadway performers that would keep all of our friends employed... [RobertArmin] But no one's breaking down my door for it. [RobertArmin] I think it's too sophisticated for TV. [DannyBurstein] what's it called? [RobertArmin] No title. Just about Broadway performers. [DannyBurstein] LAW & ORDER: WAITERS [DannyBurstein] LAW & ORDER: THE UNEMPLOYMENT LINE [RobertArmin] There really hasn't been a musical comedy performer in a sit com since Caroline in the City. And her neighbor was in CATS!!!!! [DannyBurstein] lol [DannyBurstein] that's funny [RobertArmin] We need more musicals on TV. And I don't mean The Music Man. [DannyBurstein] I agree [RobertArmin] Especially when it didn't star Rebecca Luker. [DannyBurstein] maybe CHICAGO will help push things along [RobertArmin] Yeah, an "updated" version of Bye Bye Birdie is on the way! [RobertArmin] Whatever that means. [DannyBurstein] really? [DannyBurstein] wow, nice [DannyBurstein] it's something [RobertArmin] Not if they really meant a "hip-hop" sensibility. [DannyBurstein] oy vey, I hope not [DannyBurstein] I don't think Charles & Lee would let that happen [RobertArmin] We can only hope. [RobertArmin] So let's get back to you... [RobertArmin] and your early years. [RobertArmin] You were raised where? [DannyBurstein] in NYC [DannyBurstein] went to the HS of Performing Arts [DannyBurstein] studied acting there [DannyBurstein] then went to Queens College - where my dad still teaches, btw, for Drama & Theater [DannyBurstein] and began acting professionally [RobertArmin] Interesting. [DannyBurstein] I took a year off from school and went back to get my Masters at UC, San Diego [RobertArmin] Just "in case"? [DannyBurstein] yeah [RobertArmin] So it must have annoyed you that your career has been so busy... [DannyBurstein] I was working with lots of super talented people who rarely worked and it scared the hell out of me [RobertArmin] You're too damn successful. [DannyBurstein] so I thought... let me get that Masters "just in case" [RobertArmin] You're the very definition of "working actor." [DannyBurstein] well, you're kind [DannyBurstein] here's something most folks don't know... [RobertArmin] yes, tell us. [DannyBurstein] right now I have a commercial jingle running [DannyBurstein] for YOPLAT... [DannyBurstein] and I'm singing a parody of CHOO CHEE FACE from CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG on it [RobertArmin] ! [RobertArmin] LOL [DannyBurstein] it's playing Nationally [RobertArmin] Good for you. [DannyBurstein] and no one knows it's me. it's odd [RobertArmin] You have done a lot of studio singing... [RobertArmin] what are some of the other "secret" recordings? [DannyBurstein] well, I'm on tons of demo recordings of musicals that have yet to be produced [DannyBurstein] I wasn't always comfortable in the studio, but now I love it [DannyBurstein] my first recording was WEIRD ROMANCE for Alan Menken & David Spencer [RobertArmin] I'm always frustrated by many of the demos in my collection because the singers aren't always listed. [DannyBurstein] and I was soooo nervous recording that [RobertArmin] And you got to do I Love Your Perfect Now Change even though you didn't originate the role! [DannyBurstein] yeah, I just lucked into that [RobertArmin] How did that come about? [DannyBurstein] Jordan Leeds who originated the role got into SUNSET BLVD just as the show was opening so he left very soon after and they just asked me instead of him [RobertArmin] And a star was born [DannyBurstein] he was terrific in the show though [DannyBurstein] lol [RobertArmin] Would you believe I STILL haven't seen that show?!! [DannyBurstein] I've gone back into it once or twice since leaving [RobertArmin] Of course, it took me ten years to see Perfect Crime. [RobertArmin] And that was too soon. [DannyBurstein] if I go back, I'll call you [DannyBurstein] LOL [RobertArmin] No offense intended to "Now Change." [DannyBurstein] is Perfect Crime still running? [DannyBurstein] Jeez! [RobertArmin] pj9 asks: what is a typical day like? or is there such a thing as a typical day? [DannyBurstein] hmmm, there is no typical. I run to several auditions, I usually do a booking (recording a commercial or whatever) and then be with my family [RobertArmin] Kballetdancer asks: I'm graduating college next year with hopes of breaking into the Broadway business. Do you have any advice for me as to what to do first being that I will still be a Non-Equity performer? [DannyBurstein] focus on the work [DannyBurstein] not the business [DannyBurstein] try and be the best you can be [RobertArmin] And stay non-Equity for a while [DannyBurstein] agents & casting directors will find you [DannyBurstein] worry about the work [RobertArmin] There is soooo much work out there. [DannyBurstein] so many people try and network and it gets them nowhere [RobertArmin] Don't worry about joining Equity. It will happen when the time is right. [DannyBurstein] and do your best to have a life outside the business [RobertArmin] Just do as many shows as you can. [DannyBurstein] in order to be a well-rounded person [RobertArmin] Life? What's that? [DannyBurstein] lol [DannyBurstein] I'm very lucky. I'm doing everything I ever wanted to do as a little kid [DannyBurstein] I am literally living my dream [RobertArmin] Here's a question I was going to ask you: Kballetdancer asks: I was sitting right in front of you at Seth's Broadway Chatterbox last week. Did you have fun doing his show? [RobertArmin] How course, I wasn't sitting in front of you. [DannyBurstein] I've known Seth for years and I adore him. Becca does too [DannyBurstein] We had a great time. So did the boys [DannyBurstein] Thanks for coming Kballetdancer [DannyBurstein] <----hugs Kballetdancer [RobertArmin] In reference to your previous response -- about living your dream. I must say that you do seem to have everything a working actor could desire. And a wife second to none. And two great sons. .. [RobertArmin] I think I hate you. [RobertArmin] Just kidding! [DannyBurstein] RLOL [DannyBurstein] It's friggin hard being an actor too, don't get me wrong [DannyBurstein] but it's what I expected [DannyBurstein] so that makes it easier to live with [RobertArmin] Poor baby (a Sondheim reference). [DannyBurstein] from COMPANY, which I did on Broadway [RobertArmin] In which you married Veanne Cox! [DannyBurstein] yup [RobertArmin] Who is BRILLIANT in The Boy Friend!!!!!! [DannyBurstein] I've heard [RobertArmin] Hysterically funny. [RobertArmin] IT HAS TO COME TO NEW YORK! [DannyBurstein] we see each other every once in a while still. I adore her [DannyBurstein] we'll always be good friends [RobertArmin] I've loved Veanne since Flora, the Red Menace. [RobertArmin] She is always great. [DannyBurstein] yeah, I wish I'd seen that [DannyBurstein] think that was one of Scott Ellis' first directing gigs too [RobertArmin] And Susan Stroman, too. [RobertArmin] In reference to our earlier comments to Kballetdancer... [RobertArmin] Kballetdancer adds: So would keeping with community theatre and regional theatre for a while be smart? [DannyBurstein] yeah, working is smart [DannyBurstein] gaining experience is smart [DannyBurstein] learning and especially listening is smart [DannyBurstein] be a sponge [DannyBurstein] I learned so much at the MUNY as a kid because I watched & listened [DannyBurstein] from incredible performers [RobertArmin] My first professional show was Gone With The Wind! [RobertArmin] With Leslie Warren, directed by Joe Layton. [DannyBurstein] and work on being the best singer/actor/dancer you can be [DannyBurstein] WOW [RobertArmin] I certainly learned a lot from that experience. [RobertArmin] Like, keep live horses off stage [DannyBurstein] that must have been amazing [DannyBurstein] LOL [RobertArmin] Pat asks: Where were you when the lights went out? [DannyBurstein] I was way downtown past City Hall seeing a friend [DannyBurstein] and walked 3 1/2 hours in order to make it home [RobertArmin] Was Rebecca rehearsing then? [DannyBurstein] Becca was in Bklyn filming a TUMS commercials, ironically [RobertArmin] Speaking of which, pj9 asks: Any info about the Tums commercial that delayed the Chatterbox that was scheduled for earlier in the month [DannyBurstein] she, luckily, got a ride to the 59th St Bridge and walked from there [DannyBurstein] the commercial got finished thanks to generators so it should be out at the end of this month [DannyBurstein] can't wait to see my wife have gas on National TV, lol [RobertArmin] ROFLMAO [RobertArmin] There are certain things I would prefer NOT to imagine. [DannyBurstein] LOL [DannyBurstein] she'll be beautiful nonetheless [DannyBurstein] as always [RobertArmin] Hey, we should give another CD away. [DannyBurstein] OK! [RobertArmin] Let's give away the Sondheim at the Movies album. [RobertArmin] Here's a tough question. In what musical did you understudy (and get to play) the songwriter Ed Kleban? [DannyBurstein] I know! I know! [RobertArmin] Shhhh [DannyBurstein] HELLO DOLLY? [RobertArmin] Hint - Danny understudied Lonny Price. [RobertArmin] Who wrote, starred in and directed the show. [RobertArmin] Vineyard has the answer. A Class Act. [DannyBurstein] YAY. Good going VINEYARD [RobertArmin] Vineyard, send your name and address to Fynsworth@showmusic.com! [RobertArmin] We will send you the Sondheim album. [DannyBurstein] Well, that's pretty cool [RobertArmin] pj9 asks, in reference to Rebecca's commercial: will it be a series like the Maytag man? [RobertArmin] Yes, she'll have gas every week. [DannyBurstein] LOL [DannyBurstein] She'll be the Gas Lady [DannyBurstein] NOOOOO [DannyBurstein] it's just the one [RobertArmin] Very explosive personality. [DannyBurstein] oh dear [RobertArmin] We really have to get the two of you together in some goofy comedy. [DannyBurstein] that'd be great [RobertArmin] You bring out the best in each other. [DannyBurstein] thanks [DannyBurstein] you're sweet [RobertArmin] Funny that she did a non-musical comedy recently and she got to play the angry lady, instead of the witty, charming one. [RobertArmin] She's one of the funniest ladies I know. [DannyBurstein] Yes, she was really excited to do it too [DannyBurstein] People don't think of her that way, it's true, but she's a great gal. Kind of a broad in a way [RobertArmin] So, here is a question I ask most people. What are the dream roles you would like to play? [DannyBurstein] Jeez, you stumped me [DannyBurstein] I want to do the lead in Eric Bogosian's TALK RADIO in NY [DannyBurstein] It's so different [DannyBurstein] I usually get cast as the nice guy and I'm sick of it dammit!!! [DannyBurstein] LOL [RobertArmin] So you see yourself as an angry kind of guy. [DannyBurstein] not really, but I love that role [DannyBurstein] he's just a raw nerve [RobertArmin] Funny how the people who play the meanest people are often the nicest. [RobertArmin] Kballetdancer asks: What was the last Broadway show that you saw? [RobertArmin] We know what the next show will be... [RobertArmin] Nine [DannyBurstein] AVENUE Q. We were invited to the final dress and it was terrific [RobertArmin] Kris and I are finally getting to see Avenue Q and Big River in a few weeks. [DannyBurstein] I also know John Tartaglia, who brought my kids to Sesame Street, and I think he's fantastic! [RobertArmin] Can't wait till the fall when the season starts jumping. [DannyBurstein] now, of course, my 7 & 10 year old sons want to see the show and can't understand why I won't take them to see John in it [RobertArmin] ! [RobertArmin] Yeah, try and explain that to them. [RobertArmin] But it's got puppets! [DannyBurstein] Believe me I've tried [DannyBurstein] Puppets screwing [DannyBurstein] I just can't do that to them! [RobertArmin] We've come a long way from Carnival -- Carrot Top and Horrible Henry. [RobertArmin] That was MY first musical! [DannyBurstein] you're not kidding, that's right [RobertArmin] That dates me. [DannyBurstein] Anna Marie Albergettie? How the hell do you spell that? [RobertArmin] Alberghetti. [RobertArmin] My buddy Doria_Hudson asks: are your kids involved in any kind of performing arts? [DannyBurstein] ah [DannyBurstein] nope [DannyBurstein] they're not [DannyBurstein] they're gonna be whatever they want to be and right now they've expressed no desire to do so [RobertArmin] Doria is just a little older that your eldest. [DannyBurstein] which is just fine [RobertArmin] And she has stars in her eyes. [DannyBurstein] Hi Doria [RobertArmin] A very talented young lady. [DannyBurstein] hold on to your dream Doria [DannyBurstein] I was just like you growing up in Queens [DannyBurstein] and never thought I would be here sitting with the amazing Robert Armin being interviewed like this [RobertArmin] ! [RobertArmin] Ah shucks. [RobertArmin] Well, when you consider the guests I have been lucky enough to have here, you're in pretty good company! [DannyBurstein] it takes a while - but it will happen if you want it to [DannyBurstein] I truly feel very lucky to be here tonight [RobertArmin] Doria adds: Robert sure is a great guy, isn't he? [RobertArmin] I HAD to post that one. [DannyBurstein] yeah, he's all right [RobertArmin] Well, we are all looking forward to your next Broadway show. [RobertArmin] And we want it to happen soon. [DannyBurstein] me too [DannyBurstein] I've enjoyed doing the other projects too [DannyBurstein] film, cartoon voices, commercials, etc [RobertArmin] I think you would probably be happiest doing a TV series -- if it filmed in New York. [DannyBurstein] yes [RobertArmin] Lots of variety [RobertArmin] Instead of eight performances a week. [DannyBurstein] and if it allowed me time off for my kids [RobertArmin] Exactly. [DannyBurstein] people don't realize how hard 8 performances a week is [DannyBurstein] it takes amazing strength [RobertArmin] Well, that's Danny Burstein -- superdad [DannyBurstein] eh [RobertArmin] Boy, ninety minutes have flown again. [DannyBurstein] Jeez, that's it??? [RobertArmin] Time for a couple more questions. [DannyBurstein] Oh goodie [RobertArmin] Pat asks: what kind of things do you like to do with the kids ? [DannyBurstein] mostly? talk [DannyBurstein] I love to hear what they have to say about life [DannyBurstein] it makes me so happy [DannyBurstein] playing catch, fishing, watching bad TV [DannyBurstein] I love everything about being a dad [DannyBurstein] and I love to make them laugh at my jokes [RobertArmin] Well, on that note (a lovely note, by the way), let me thank you again for joining us tonight. [DannyBurstein] My pleasure [RobertArmin] You are a nice guy. [DannyBurstein] you too [DannyBurstein] everyone here is nice dammit [RobertArmin] And, when you think about, you must be just about the nicest guy in the world, cause Rebecca chose you! [RobertArmin] :) [DannyBurstein] definitely the luckiest [DannyBurstein] as are you, Robert [RobertArmin] Kristine (my nice wife) just called to say hi. [DannyBurstein] Thanks to all the folks who joined us tonight, btw [DannyBurstein] I look forward to meeting you all someday face to face [RobertArmin] Next week -- unless something comes up suddenly -- we have another great singer as our guest. [RobertArmin] Ms Liz Callaway [DannyBurstein] YAY [RobertArmin] Kballetdancer adds: Thank you! See you at the New Composers concert on the 29th! [DannyBurstein] see you then! [RobertArmin] Good night all. See you next week. [DannyBurstein] Byeeeee [RobertArmin] And Danny, give my regards to Becca! [DannyBurstein] I will [DannyBurstein] my best to Kristine |
